A Summer to Die by Lois Lowry

The book A Summe to Die is an awesome book.
Meg's life seems to be going really well, even though she sometimes fights with her sister. It is also hard for her to live up to all of the accomplishments of her older sister Molly. Their father announces that they must move to the country side for the summer. The reason for this is he needs a nice quiet place to write his book. Meg is not happy about this and either is Molly. But when they arrive, Meg never knew she would love it this much. She ends up meeting a young couple expecting a baby and an old man. Meg discovers a love for phography. Everything changes when Molly gets a very rare disease. Meg doesn't know how to react to this. She knows that Molly could die any day, so Meg spends some more time with her. After the young couple has their baby, Meg realizes how life is such a miracle. Somewhere in her Meg finds the courage to go visit Molly in the hospital. As summer drew to and end, Meg found it even harder to leave the countryside than to come there in the first place. Later in the book Meg reflects on how so much can happen in one summer.
