1776 by David McCullough

In this book David McCullough describes in detail the plans and letters written and planned out by George Washington and his Generals. He talks about historical fights such as the Battle of Bunker Hill and how it affected future fights and battles in the war. This book is all non-fiction and is a lot of facts. It is a good book and very informational but is not very exciting for people who are mainly fiction readers. Also in this book David McCullough looks at all sides of the war. He talks about what the British, Loyalist, Minute Men, Patriots, and citizens were thinking of or what they wrote during the war. This book is very fascinating for those who have a thirst for knowledge about the behind the scenes war.
