Tiger, Tiger by Lynne Reid Banks

This book reminded me of the movie "Two Brothers". If you are not familiar with this movie it is about two baby tigers who get separated after they are captured by poachers. In the end they have to fight each other. The movie from the book in a couple of ways first the brothers are sent to completely different settings. One is sent to the Colosseum to be a man-eating tiger to entertain and one is sent to the Emperor's daughter as a gift. In the book the Emperor's daughter (Aurelia) falls in love with the tiger's (Boots) trainer(Julius). When Marcus and Aurelia play a joke on Julius by hiding Boots in a wine cell the joke go's really wrong when Boots escapes. Julius is sent to the Colosseum to pay for losing Boots and ends up having to fight Boots and Boots man-eating brother.
