Hey everyone who loves a good mystery, Zach's Lie by Roland Smith is a great book!
7th-grader, Jack Osborne, his sister and his mother are one night robbed and terrified by three men who came into their home and threatened them with death. They all did what they were told and ended up safe. Well, at least they thought they were safe.
The police came to investigate the next day and asked them questions. They all wouldn't answer many because they knew they would be killed by the three men if they did so they didn't, but since the police still knew they were in danger, they moved the Osborne family into a near by hotel. They now lived here until they figured out what was going on. It ended up being that the father of the family was smuggling drugs into the country and the mean were sent to hurt the Osbornes so they wouldn't get into trouble. They again move, but now out of state to Utah because that will be the safest thing. The now aren't aloud to contact anyone they knew before, even family, and restart their lives there, but will the Ozborne family be safe for long in their new home?
