Escape From Egypt is a romance and an adventure. It is not the easiest read, but it touches on points of view that are usually left forgotten.
This novel is told in two points of view. The poor Hebrew slave Jessie and the wealthy, Egyption lady in waiting Jennat. The to are in love, but it are forced to meet in secret. When Moses sets the Hebrew slaves free Jennat tags along for a journey to find promised lands with Jessie and many Hebrews. Tenssion rises between Jessie, Jennat and Jessie's betrothed cousin.
As the journey carries on emotions are challenged and stamena is tested with eachother, Moses, family, and religion.
