The Cobra King of Kathmandu by: P.B. Kerr


In this book the plot line is that John and Philippa's uncle and friend Mr. Rakashasa go missing. They must travel to India with Mr. Groain, their uncle's butler, to save them. Before they can go the must first rescue their friend Dybbuk who is being hunted by the Nine Cobras. Though they do not know it then Dybbuk will help them greatly. He will give them the final clue to unlocking the exact location of their uncle. While in India they Travel to an ashram and find that their uncle and Mr. Rakashasa are being held here. On the way to freeing them they are captured by the Nine Cobras. They are wanted for they are Djinn (genie). The leader of the Nine Cobras though wants to use their very blood so he to can become a Djinn. The question is can they save not only themselves but their uncle and Mr. Rakashasa in time?

This is the 3rd book of the Children of the Lamp series. The first 2 are The Akhenaten Adventure and the The Blue Djinn of Babylon. You should read these before you read The Cobra King of Kathmandu.
