Fishlegs, have just escaped being executed by Romans. Not soon after, they are taken to the dreadful Roman camp of Fort Sinister. There they meet up with another tribe's hier, named Camicazi. They join forces with Camicazi to escape Fort Sinister. Unfortunately, this takes many attempts and the reader follows along for all of them.

After that, they are sent into a Colossium to face the thought to be unkillable sharkworms. Sharkworms are dragons that are so scary you would only picture them in your worst nightmares. They live in the water, but they have the ability to go on land and can run faster than any human. Does Hiccup succeed? Does Hiccup fail? You can only find out by reading this exciting novel!
