For those of you who are following my posts, you will know this is the 5th book in a series of fantasy adventures featuring Hiccup and his friend Fishlegs. In this book a volcano is threatening to destroy the island of Berk, which is where the young Vikings live. Hiccup must return the Firestone that his father has taken from the lava and bring it to the volcano on volcano island. He must also stop the exterminators from wiping out the entire known world.
Hiccup has faced extremely dangerous foes, but this might just be is most dangerous adventure yet. Will Hiccup save the day once again? Will the fires of the volcano burn him to a crisp? What can an exterminator do to destroy the known world? You'll just have to read and find out....
